As a physician-led company, we are committed to formulating the most effective products available for chronic conditions such as pain, sleep, and anxiety. Our efforts include collecting data in the form of Reported Outcomes from individuals seeking to improve their health and wellbeing.

Is my information secure?

Yes, your data is secure, and will not be shared in any way except on condition of anonymity to help us understand the efficacy of our formulas and contribute to the science on natural plant extracts like CBD.

Our Clinical Mission

At Synergy BioNaturals, one of our primary goals is to contribute to the clinical science of CBD and other herbal medicines by collecting data from individuals like you, who have a passion for giving back. We’re a company that recognizes the value of conventional medicine and respect its conservative use of the scientific method. But where conventional medicine falls short as in chronic disease states, we embrace the integrative approach. This is the underlying principle found in every traditional healing system from which we take some of our plant extracts.

Why is Research Important?

To change the minds of the medical community to begin prescribing safer herbal ingredients like CBD in place of prescription drugs such as opiates it's required to provide evidence establishing CBD’s clinical efficacy. Right now the popularity of CBD has gotten a little ahead of the science. Doctors trained in the scientific method accept theories that have been carefully tested under strict conditions designed to remove personal bias. Good science, by definition, demands testing of a submitted theory by independent researchers for the purposes of establishing a statistical norm.

The medical community has a responsibility to the public to provide sound care that is supported by good science. We want to further the evidence of ingredients such as CBD, Turmeric, Boswellia, and Ginger, which have some scientific evidence supporting their use in a clinical setting. Many herbal ingredients come out of traditional healing systems like Ayurveda and TCM with strong anecdotal (personal testimony) evidence supporting their benefits. Physicians wait for good science to take up these historical claims made by traditional healing systems and apply the rigor of the scientific method to locate how something works—mechanism of action.
Keep in mind, if someone told you they had a secret elixir for curing baldness, your inner skeptic would instantly surface as a reflex response. Often people make bold statements for things but provide little evidence to support their claims. Scientist's are just a little more skeptical than the rest of us.

Science & Cannabis

During the turbulent years of the 1960s, Cannabis was a plant with a lot of notoriety that some researchers decided was worth taking a look at. Their stated goal was to find the active compound in Cannabis Sativa. After decades of patient research using the scientific method, scientists isolated what they thought was the only active compound (THC) and in the process uncovered a whole network of receptors, neurotransmitters, and enzymes that function to maintain health and wellness in the body.

The beginnings of Cannabis research started with the assumption that THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) was the only active compound in the marijuana plant. This presumption was overturned after researchers located the receptors for the cannabinoids in Cannabis and subsequently discovered the therapeutic potential of the non-psychoactive cannabinoids such as CBD, CBC, CBG, and 80+ other cannabinoids. Without good science, the knowledge we have of the endocannabinoid system, and CBD wouldn’t exist.

Capturing the Data

The first questionnaire before taking one of our products establishes a baseline which will look something like: “I’m in pain”… “I can’t sleep”… “My anxiety is bad... The second questionnaire is intended to be taken after using our product and give us important results such as: “I’m not in pain”! “I can sleep again”! “No more panic.”

The information from each questionnaire will give us a better insight into the efficacy of our products and help us design future clinical studies that further the evidence of natural, safe approaches to treat chronic conditions such as, pain, anxiety, and insomnia. As a physician-led company, Synergy BioNaturals is committed to gathering data to contribute to the clinical evidence of CBD and the other herbal actives in our formulas!
